Julia Lucy (Nugent) Nugent

Julia "Judy" Nugent, age 74, of St. Paul, died Tuesday, September 18, 2018 in Delano.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 2 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Maple Lake, with burial following at St. Timothy Catholic Cemetery. Fr. Mark Juettner will be the Celebrant. Visitation will take place from 9-10:15 a.m. Tuesday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake.

Julia Lucy Nugent was born April 16, 1944 in St. Cloud to Edward and Catherine "Murf" (Murphy) Nugent. She grew up in Maple Lake and attended St. Timothy's Parochial School through the 8th grade. She worked for many years for Kaposia Services out of St. Paul. She loved being with her family, playing board games, playing cards and listening to music, especially Elvis. Judy liked all sports and was a big Minnesota Twins and Vikings fan.

She is survived by her siblings Margaret (Bill) Gagnon-Pollard, Patrick Nugent and Cathy (John) Uecker; nieces and nephews Dee Gagnon (Tony Sheakley), Charles Gagnon (Elizabeth Grob), George (Kim) Gagnon, Scott (Leza) Nugent, Kelly Nugent (Tachi Callas), JoAnn (John) Irons, Chris (Clare) Uecker, Michael (Debbie) Uecker, Kurt (Sarah) Uecker and Tricia (Travis) Nordling; and 21 great nieces and great nephews.

The urn bearers will be Scott Nugent, George and Charles Gagnon, Chris, Michael and Kurt Uecker. Krista Elsenpeter Tarbox and Sarah Goelz will provide the music for the service. Memorials are preferred to Kaposia, Inc. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Maple Lake.
